I use Placidus. If you use Chani’s app (for example), she uses Whole Sign, so the houses and signs will match up.

Find the house that is ruled by Aries.

Look for either where Aries touches the house cusp (where the house begins) OR in Whole Sign the house and sign will match up.

(You can look at the chart below as an example)

Note the house that Aries rules, and if you have any planets there.

Example: Below, Aries rules my 10th house, and I don't have any planets in my 10th house.

However, I also have Aries in my 9th house, and I do have two Aries placements - I have my Mars in Aries conjunct my MC in Aries.

Look to see if you have Aires in any other house & if you have any placements there.

I encourage you to feel into your findings first, especially if you have a sense of your chart/astrology in general. If this is super new, no worries.
